Instant Loan Approval Scam
Fake instant loan offers that steal your information or money
How this scam works
Scammers send messages about pre-approved loans with attractive terms. When you apply, they either steal your personal information, ask for "processing fees" upfront, or install malicious apps on your phone that later blackmail you for access to your contacts and photos.
These scams have become increasingly dangerous with fake loan apps that access your phone data and then harass you and your contacts for "repayment" of loans you never took.
